I saw this story on CBC's "The Hour" last year and thought it was kinda cool. Now it's many months later and it looks like this dude from Montreal is actually gonna pull it off. This guy is actually gonna trade up from a paperclip to a house. So far, he's gone from a paperclip to a pen, to a snowmobile, to a truck and he's currently at ''free rent for a year in Phoenix AZ" with many items in between.
He's been all over the news in Canada (CBC Newsworld, The Hour) and the U.S. (CNN, Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight). Slow news days I guess. Anyway, it's a neat idea (which are getting harder to come by these days) and it's just more proof that this internet thing is catching on.
