To help launch their new brand and logo, Yahoo! will be displaying a different variation of the logo design on their homepage and throughout the US network leading up the Sept 5 launch of the "official" new one.
Not sure what they are up to with this whole thing and why they would do it like this (other than the obvious buzz reasons), but I am intrigued. I also wonder if they are all "throw aways" or if they are all versions that were created and evaluated as part of the process. Either way, they were long overdue for a refresh. And, having been with them since their humble beginnings, I am rooting for them.
