Lifelong typographer and founder of the International Typeface Corporation (you know... "ITC" fonts), Ed Rondthaler recorded this great video for House Industries showing quite clearly how ridiculous spelling in the English language can be. Ed was 102 years old when he recorded this.
An avid historian, Ed also was a strong proponent of "spelling reform" in the English language as a means of fighting illiteracy. Sadly, Ed passed away in 2009 at the ripe old age of 104.
