Giant Marimba Plays Bach for Japenese Cell Phone Commercial

The Japanese agency Drill, Inc. created this spot for the NTT Docomo's Touch Wood SH-08C mobile phone (a phone that uses discarded wood for its case) claiming to have not used any artificial music at all.

The giant marimba that plays Bach's Cantana 147 ("Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring") was built on-site from fallen trees in the woods of of Kyushu, Japan.

Simple and Peaceful. I like it. I like the look of the phone too.

Note: I didn't make any suggestive comments about the name of the phone. But I can't honestly say, I wasn't thinking it.
