Can Shampoo Inspire?

I'm not sure how to feel about this one. It's captivating, emotional, inspiring, well made, and is likely to become a viral hit, but I'm having a hard time tying it all together with shampoo. The clever line at the end does relate to the story and hair (albeit in very different ways), but I still feel a really weird about the whole thing. What does the shampoo (or even great hair) have to do with any of this? Am I missing something?
