Jobs. Jobs. Jobs.

If you’re reading this BLOG because you saw our employment ad in the paper – great! We like people who do their homework. So, you're obviously interested in who are, what we’re all about, and the positions we are looking to fill. Read on...

First a bit about Razor. We won’t bore you with all the details (yet) but we will tell you this...
Every company needs to believe in something, and we believe in these simple but powerful words: “Cut through.” Basically “Cut through” is our mission statement, our tagline and the guiding principle in everything that we do.

What does “Cut through” mean?
Well, in its very base form, when we’re talking about advertising and communications and creative, it’s impossible to be seen, heard, and definitively understood unless you figure out a way to get noticed... to “Cut through” the clutter and get your audience to pay attention, take notice and react physically or emotionally.

The best product, promotion, service or organization means nothing unless the appropriate message gets to the intended eyes, ears and minds.

Doing “Cut through” creative does not begin with a font choice, a paper stock, a great location for a photo shoot, or catchy headline. It starts with understanding what has already been done, then going beyond and doing something new.

If this sounds like a something you can get behind, then we want to talk to you!

Clients:
In terms of our clients, we have been fortunate enough to work with many world-class organizations, both on a local and national level. Some of these great clients include: McCain, Ganong, Apex Industries, Pumphouse Breweries, Laubach Literacy, Nanoptix, Office of Official Languages for New Brunswick, Enterprise Greater Moncton, and the New YMCA to name just a few.

The Jobs:

Our increasing work-load and our on-going quest to always do better, more creative and “cut through” work for our clients has meant we need to fill new positions within our organization.

Art Director
Like the ad states, we’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of Agency experience. That means you’re good... very good at what you do and you have the portfolio to prove it.

We need someone who can take projects from conception to completion and is ready to do the best work of their career. If you’re looking for a place to spread your wings and grow creatively, this could be it.

We have high standards so only send your best stuff.

Account Coordinator (Part Time)
If you’re EXTREMELY organized, deadline and detail obsessed, you’re qualified. It would be great if you have related experience, but if you don't - no problem – if you can help keep us organized, we can teach you the rest.
This is an entry-level part-time position, but hopefully will expand to full time.

Freelance Copywriters
If you have experience writing really great copy for ads, brochures, websites, slogans, promotions, posters and more… creative stuff, then send us your portfolio.

We’re always looking for help from crafty wordsmiths – people who can come up with concepts and ideas as well as take existing content and make it better.

If you can do that, excellent! If you can do it equally well in English and in French, where have you been all our lives?
This is a freelance position, but if you’re good, we’ll send plenty of work your way.

Finally...

Make sure you submit your resume before end of day Friday, March 31st. If you’re applying for the Art Director position or to be a Freelance Copywriter, include PDF's of your best work. If you have a reel or radio to share, send us a link or attach it as well. If you’re qualified, you’ll know what to do. We thank everyone for submitting, but we can only contact those whom we wish to interview. One more thing. Mention you read this BLOG in your email... major brownie points!
